TV On A Boat is Easy With Glomex

Whether catching a weather update or watching the game, viewing TV on the water is increasingly common. Glomex Marine Antennas USA makes connecting easy with its line of DVB-T2 Full HD Omni-directional TV Antennas. They feature an exclusive automatic gain control amplifier for optimal, trouble-free signal reception and a crystal-clear picture, and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Unlike some marine antennas that require manual adjustment of the amplifier every time it’s used, Glomex’s automatic gain control makes it as simple as turning on the TV. It instantly corrects for strong or weak signals—something that’s common on the water. The amplifier is small, too, so it is easily hidden inside the boat, requiring only a 12-24VDC power source.

Ideal for any sized vessel, Glomex omni-directional antennas are built for tomorrow’s technology. They have integrated shark fin antennas for future, vertically polarized TV broadcasts and additional channel spacing capabilities. A built-in LTE filter minimizes signal interference. They support two televisions, or one TV and one FM receiver with an optional TV/FM cable. A video is at bit.ly/2F3ifkT

Only quality components and materials are used for worry-free operation. The durable, aerodynamic radome is UV-resistant and all parts are built to withstand the rigors of a marine environment. They’re easy to install and Glomex boasts a wide range of mounting options.

Glomex offers four models. All operate at 75 Ohms and have a frequency range of 40/890 MHz. The 14-inch Nashira has a 24 dB gain average; the 14-inch Adhara has a 36 dB gain average; the 10-inch Talitha has a 26 dB gain average; and the 10-inch Altair has a 27.5 dB gain average. All draw a mere 20mA and are powered by 12-24VDC. The Adhara accommodates up to six TVs and comes with a universal mount.

Glomex DVB-T2 TV Full HD Omnidirectional Antennas come with 66 feet of coax cable, a 5 foot amplifier to TV cord and a gold-plated connector. Prices start at $132.

Waterborne Stains And Odors Are History With Iosso

Because of the constantly moist environment, many areas on a boat rarely dry thoroughly, even when drained and sitting on a trailer. Live wells, bait buckets, fish boxes, coolers and refrigerators can all develop algae, mold and mildew, and start smelling funky. Iosso Products’ Live Well Cleaner is an environmentally-friendly and biodegradable solution that removes the toughest stains, leaving surfaces clean and fresh.

Innovative Live Well Cleaner is chlorine-free and doesn’t change the pH, so it’s fish safe. Equally effective on blood and other tough stains, it won’t leave a hard-to-rinse residue like some cleaners.

Using Iosso’s Live Well Cleaner could not be easier. It is poured directly into a tank or bucket of water. After letting the chemical action work, a light scrubbing may be needed to remove built-up staining. It can be circulated to clean pumps and tubing. The biodegradable solution is then drained and the surface rinsed. It can even be used to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

A 4 oz. container of Iosso Products’ Live Well Cleaner costs $5.95.

Bright, Multi-Function Lights Preserve Cockpit Space

Boat cockpits often require multiple lights to serve vastly different applications. Bright white lamps are best when working, docking or focusing on detailed tasks, while red are used to preserve night vision. Blue adds an elegant touch for accent lighting, while warm white offers a seamless transition to interior environments. Dual Color Sea Hawk-XL lights from Hella marine use three rows of bright LEDs to provide multiple color options in a single lamp, greatly reducing clutter onboard.

Sea Hawk-XL lights are offered in combinations of white/red, white/blue or white/warm white, allowing boaters to address multiple requirements with a single unit. Built for long life in harsh environments, Sea Hawk-XL lights use a unique ceramic thermal polymer housing that directs heat away from internal components for an exceptionally long service life. The housings, available in black or white, feature IP 67 sealed construction and a 316 stainless steel mounting bracket.

A Swiss-made HD Grilamid lens provides superior resistance to UV, chemical and impact damage. All Sea Hawk-XL lights utilize Multivolt circuitry to deliver bright, even illumination from 9-33VDC.

Made in New Zealand, Sea Hawk-XL Dual Color lights carry CE approval and are supported by a 5-year warranty. Suggested retail prices start at $311.
