24 • Pier 39’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony,
noon - 6 p.m. The enchanting entertainment will include holiday traditions from Christmas. Pier 39’s majestic tree, adorned with 400 glistening ornaments, 500 multi-colored bows and 2,000 twinkling lights will be lit at 5:30 p.m. in the Entrance Plaza.

 

30 • Petaluma Santa’s Riverboat Arrival,
Turning Basin and the Historic Downtown of Petaluma at 11 a.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Petaluma Riverfront onboard a boat, to greet the children and distribute candy canes. Call 707.769.0429 for more info.

5 - 8 • St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show,

7 • Christmas on the Suisun Waterfront,
Suisun Waterfront District, Harbor Plaza. 7 • Petaluma Holiday Lighted Boat Parade,
Petaluma, CA. Sponsored by the Petaluma Yacht Club, you will see a flotilla of decorated boats on parade and join in on holiday caroling. The parade starts at the Petaluma Marina at 5:30 p.m. and will arrive in the Turning Basin at around 6:30 p.m. Come out to view the boats or participate yourself by calling 707.769.0429.

 

8 • Community Action Marin Lighted Boat Parade,
5:30 p.m. start from the Marin Yacht Club and continues up the San Rafael Canal and then back to the club. Best venues to view the event are the turning basin, San Rafael Yacht Club and the Seafood Peddler restaurant. 14 • 26th Annual Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade,
Enjoy this annual event whether it be from land or as a participant as the parade runs along the Sausalito Waterfront. 6 - 11 p.m. For more info visit www.syconline.org.

 

31 • Bay Area New Year’s Eve Parties,
Most Bay Area restaurants and clubs stage their own New Year’s Eve parties, usually with live music and party favors. There may be a fee for some and most will require reservations. Make sure to inquire with your favorite hot spot and as always party responsibly so we can all enjoy 2014 together!

1 • Master Mariner’s New Year’s Day Race,
Point San Pablo Yacht Club, Point Richmond, CA. New Year’s Day Race, Chili Potluck and Tacky Trophy Exchange. Chili to be served when the boats arrive. 24 - Feb 2 • 67th Annual Seattle Boat Show, Lake Union & CenturyLink Field Event Center, Seattle,
WA. One ticket lets you view both venues by taking free shuttle that is provided to transport you between the two locations. This very popular Northwest boat show features more than 1,000 new boats and a variety of accessories that the seasoned boater along with newcomers alike will appreciate. 7 • Marina West Yacht Club’s 33rd Annual Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade,
The parade will commence at 5 p.m. reaching the McLeod Lake/Weber Point area around 6 p.m. and then will return to Light 39 in the Stockton Deep Water Channel, where the parade will end. This is an MWYC charitable event and there is a registration fee. The parade is open to all boaters and anyone wishing a parade registration form should contact the chairman, Lynn Hahn @ 209.477.7653 by Nov. 20.

8 • 1st Sunday Musically Diverse Dinner Show,
Pittsburg Yacht Club. Master of ceremonies Jack Pollard will be joined by Nicolas Bearde.
