NEW Alpine In-Cooler Entertainment System
Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., manufacturer of in-vehicle infotainment systems, has taken their premium entertainment technology outside to wherever the fun may be in a new portable sound system in a cooler.
The PWD-CB1 Alpine ICE features an Alpine sound system installed in a Grizzly™ Cooler, utilizing an innovative design that does not sacrifice storage capacity or cooling capability. Signature Grizzly features include molded-in heavy duty handles, BearClaw™ latching system, nylon rope handles with rubber grips, non-slip rubber feet, and a two-inch drain plug, all contained within a cooler measuring 34-inches L x 16.75-inches W x 18-inches H, and providing 56-quart storage capacity.
The 180-watt Alpine sound system consists of 2-way, 5.25-inch component waterproof speakers with 4 x 10-inch bass radiators and a compact audio amplifier. Bluetooth wireless connection provides audio streaming in seconds through an illuminated control panel, with a side-mounted 3.5-mm aux input available for wired connection to other portable devices. The PWD-CB1 Alpine ICE is powered by the included 16-foot, 12-volt auxiliary power cable, which is compatible with most vessel and vehicle 12-volt outlets, and may also be paired with external portable battery packs and generators. The cooler control panel signals the user if the charging source needs to be started to prevent the battery from completely discharging.
The Alpine components are water resistant for easy cleanup, and the speaker grills are protected against corrosion. Rubber gaskets keep water away from the control panel, speakers, and electronics, and a plastic cover and silicon rubber plugs shield the auxiliary input and audio outputs.
The Alpine In-Cooler Entertainment (ICE) system retails for $1,500. For more information, and to find a store locator and approved online retailers, visit www.alpine-usa.com/alpineice

One Bucket System Changes How Boats Are Cleaned
Most boaters store their supplies inside the pail they use for cleaning. The problem is, when it’s time to use the pail, all the tools and supplies have to come out and are then loose and underfoot. The innovative Shurhold Bucket Caddy helps contain and organize it all, and fits inside a common 3.5 or 5-gallon bucket.
Built from rugged polyethylene, the Bucket Caddy is made to last, with separate molded pockets and a comfortable handle for pulling it out of the pail. A perforated bottom lets water pass through, and allows tools and supplies to dry.
The Bucket Caddy is part of Shurhold’s “One Bucket System,” a group of tools that fit inside their 5-Gallon Rope Handle Bucket. Combined with the new Bucket Grate, this handy system is designed to keep tools and supplies clean while enhancing the cleaning process. The Bucket grate sits in the bottom of a standard 5-gallon pail and allows contaminates to settle beneath it, keeping the wash solution cleaner, and trapping dirt and debris as tools are rinsed. The Bucket Grate also includes two molded 3-oz. measuring cups for proportioning soaps and cleaners.
The Bucket Caddy retails for $10.98, and the Bucket Grate retails separately for $10.98. The complete Shurhold “One Bucket System” with 5-Gallon Rope Handle Bucket, with integrated base and lid, caddy, and grate retails for $59.98.
