Dear Jackie,

We took Johnny’s 32-foot Bayliner to Owl Harbor this week at your recommendation. Agree, the best toilets in the Delta and he’ll be there till October.

I bought your book there and will enjoy reading “Sailing the Delta.”

Excellent! Glad to hear it. I hope you all have a wonderful time. 

I think that is your Irish talk coming through. To qualify, I told you that the bathrooms at Owl Harbor are the classiest in the Delta. Not only the toilets, but also the sinks and the tiled showers and the teak seats and Devery’s photos. And by the way, a sailing friend, Tom Patterson told me that the water in the Delta is so soft that people take it home by the gallon in order to wash their hair with it. Thanks for the email.
