New Life To Stained And Drab Fabrics

From basic cotton duck to ultra-modern acrylic, all outdoor fabrics can eventually stain, fade and begin to look drab. Mild detergents may remove some of the surface dirt, but mold, mildew and algae need to be eliminated so they won’t return. The solution is Mold & Mildew Stain Remover from Iosso Products. Ideal for spring commissioning, the biodegradable formula brings new life to fabric, vinyl, wood and plastic, without the harsh chemicals that fade colors and deteriorate materials.

Mold & Mildew Stain Remover doesn’t contain chlorine, so it’s safe to use around aquatic life. Unlike harsh chemical cleaners, it has no harmful vapors or strong odors. It works on natural and synthetic fabrics such as boat and RV covers, tents, outdoor furniture cushions and carpeting, and awnings and umbrellas. Tough problems, like bird and insect droppings, tree sap, blood, grease, oil and many food stains, are no match.

Highly concentrated, one 12-oz. jar of Iosso Mold & Mildew Stain Remover makes up to three gallons of cleaning solution when mixed with water. After brushing or spraying on the surface, it’s allowed to set for 15 minutes, then thoroughly rinsed. It comes in three convenient sizes: 4 oz. which makes 1 gal. and costs $4.95; 12 oz. makes 3 gals. and is $15.35; and 65 oz. makes 16 gals. and is $75. One gallon cleans 150 sq. ft.

Macerator Pump Is Reliable & Easy To Service

When it comes to onboard plumbing, reliability is key. The 53100 Macerator Pump from Raritan is engineered to provide consistent, trouble-free performance, even if it occasionally runs dry. And even if a guest flushes something inappropriate, the 53101 adds the innovative Raritan Waste Valve Assembly, to allow easy servicing without a nasty mess.

Built in the USA to ISO 8846 standards, the Raritan 53100 Macerator Pump’s 12V or 24V DC motor is ignition protected and completely encased in epoxy for use in damp head environments. A spring-loaded Viton shaft seal prevents leakage. A proprietary nitrile rubber impeller ensures superior pumping and won’t degrade if the pump runs dry. Its heavy-duty dual-cut chopper quickly breaks down waste and paper. The device has a free flow rate of 11 gpm, and 6.4 gpm with a 20-foot head.

With the patented 53101 Macerator with Waste Valve Assembly, if maintenance is required, a turn of the hex head lever closes off the waste tube, so the macerator can cleanly be disconnected. The intake plumbing connection is 1.5-inch FNPT with an included 1.5-inch barb fitting; the outlet is a .75-inch MNPT fitting. A video is at www.bit.ly/RaritanMacerator

Because boats are often left unused for long periods, the optional Smart Macerator Control automatically jogs itself when the power is on. This keeps the impeller from becoming distorted. The device also monitors the pump motor for priming failure, dry running and power surges and will shut down if any condition is encountered.

Raritan’s 53100 Macerator Pump measures 10-inches L x 5.8-inches W x 3.8-inches H and costs $350 for the 12V version and $340 for the 24V model. The 53101 with the Waste Valve Assembly is 11-inches L x 7-inches W x 5-inches H and runs $365 for the 12V model and $419 for the 24V style.
