Diesel Tender Perfect Choice For Yachts Over 80-Feet

Owners of yachts over 80-feet typically seek a balance of sumptuous comfort, spaciousness and heart-quickening performance in their choice of RIB tenders. But they’re apt to be practical, too. That’s what makes the Argos Nautic semi-custom seven-passenger Diesel 15 such a perfect choice. Combining all their desired attributes, it runs on the same fuel as the mothership and has a modular design that can be optimized for specific activities.

Powered by an ultra-reliable and powerful Yanmar 4JH3-DTE engine that’ll propel the boat to 38 mph, the 15-foot 6-inch L x 6-foot 8-inch W tender is only 4-foot 1-inches H, making it ideal for yacht garages. And at 1,896 lbs. fully rigged, the Diesel 15 is easily hoisted by a deck crane or onto davits.

The Diesel 15 features Argos Nautic’s unique modular design. Ample storage provides space for a wide range of toys and gear while a flip-down transom makes reboarding easy.

Prices for the semi-custom Argos Nautic Diesel 15 start at $96,000; it comes with a three-year warranty.

Integrated Cleat/Rod Holders Reduce Gunwale Clutter

Combination mooring cleats with integrated rod holders from Accon Marine reduce clutter on the gunwales. And by turning two separate installations into one, they save time – whether on the production line or in the driveway.

Crafted from marine grade 316 stainless steel for classic good looks and corrosion resistance, the Accon Marine Cleat/Rod Holder measures just 7.57-inches L x 3.77-inches W x 8.43-inches D. This allows use on a broad range of vessels from family bowriders to serious big-water fishing boats.

Accon’s three models each feature a 6-inch pull-up cleat for up to .5-inch dia. mooring line that retracts flat when not in use. This is integrated into a flush-mount rod holder in a choice of 0°, 15° or 30° offset to suit many freshwater and saltwater fishing applications. Each is self-draining to the deck, or can be fitted with a .625-inch ID hose for fully enclosed installations.

Built to last, an Accon Cleat/Rod Holder can withstand a load of more than 9,700 lbs., as confirmed by independent lab testing. Each comes with a backing plate that doubles as a template to scribe the hole cut outline for installation. Once the cut-out is complete, four #15 stainless bolts and nuts secure the assembly. The Accon Marine Cleat/Rod Holder retails for $115.59.

Tables Add Much Needed Workspace To Boats

Most boats don’t have much horizontal surface space aft of the cabin or console – but that’s where most of the action is. When it’s time to make dinner, cut bait or go online, SeaSucker Large and Small Cutting Tables add much-needed workspace. And because they mount temporarily to any clean, non-porous surface, they’re easily moved to where they’re needed.

Made in the USA, SeaSucker Cutting Tables were designed for offshore fishermen to prepare bait, so holding dinner supplies isn’t a problem. The Small version will secure up to 120 pounds and the Large, 210 pounds – more than enough to hold a laptop computer or small flatscreen TV.

Cutting Tables mount using an integrated Vacuum Mount. Unlike a common industrial suction cup that quickly loses its power, the SeaSucker solution holds for up to a day. To recharge the device, a few pumps of the power button restores its force. When it’s time to move or stow the device, it removes without leaving a trace.

SeaSucker Cutting Tables have back and side walls to keep items from rolling off, and integrated carry handles. Corners are open for routing power cords and cables, and allowing fish waste to drop overboard. Slots are added to safely hold knives while the boat pitches and rolls.

Built from UV-stabilized .5-inch white Starboard HDPE polymer, SeaSucker Cutting Tables use stainless steel hardware for a long service life in a harsh marine environment. The Large version offers a generous 22-inch W x 12-inch D working surface, with overall dimensions being 23-inch W x 15.5-inch D x 6.5-inch H. It’s also available with an L Bracket for mounting to a vertical surface. The Small Cutting Table measures 18.5-inch W x 12-inch D x 3.25-inch H with a workspace of 17-inch W x 1-inch D.

The SeaSucker Large Cutting Table costs $155; with the L Bracket, $185. The Small Cutting Table is $129.
